This kind of tester can be used to test the mechanical stability of natural rubber latex concentrate, also prevulcanized natural rubber latex concentrate. The test method used in this tester is not necessarily suitable for lattices or prevulcanized latex preserved with potassium hydroxide, latices from natural source other than Hevea brasiliensis, or for compounded latex or artificial dispersions of rubber, and it is not applicable to synthetic rubber latices. Test Principle: A test portion of the latex concentrate is diluted to 55% by mass total solids content and stirred at high speed. The time required to initiate visible flocculation is recorded, this being regarded as a measure of the mechanical stability. Determination of the end-point: The arrival of the end-point is preceded by a marked decrease in the depth of the vortex around the stirring shaft, accompanied by loss of turbulence and a change in the sound of stirring action. Two methods are permitted for the determination of the end-point. A: Palm-of-the hand method B:Dispersibility-in-water method Technical Parameters: Room temperature: 10°C~40°C Relative humidity: <80% Display error: ≤0.1% Test speed: (14000±200) rev/min The max. speed: 20000 rev/min The min. speed: 2000 rev/min Dimension: 400mm?350mm?720mm Weights: 30Kg It conforms to the international standard: ISO 35.
