This lathe is designed to mainly perform turning. It can turn face, outside diameter and hole of various workpieces, can cut metric and inch threads, module threads and DP threads. Short tapers can be turned by using upper slide independently and long tapers by using upper slide together with longitudinal feed. Hole drilling and boring is possible. It can cut two workpieces in one pass with an annular borer. Power, speed and rigidity of the lathe greatly meet the needs of rough and finish turning. It can also be applied to forced cutting with hardened alloy tools, to cutting various nonferrous and ferrous metals.
