The molecular sieve is crystalline metal aluminosilicate. Its even pore size and highly specific surface enables it to have many excellent merits:

(1)   Because of its selective absorption (according to the size and shape of the absorbed molecule), the molecular sieve absorbs only molecule smaller than the pore size.
(2) It has the selective absorption for the polar or unsaturated molecules. The higher the polarity or unsaturated level is, the stronger selective absorption is.
