FC1050R Ring Type Fiber Media Converter

Introduction

HiOSO FC1050R series Ring type Media Converter is designed to meet requirements of multi fiber access network. It supports gigabit rate in the ring link and 10/100/1000M rate in the RJ45 ports. It has two fiber ports, three RJ45 ports and oneConsole port, which provide not only point to point network connection, but also point to multi-point chain network. It has extend the transmission distance of a network from 100m over copper wires to 120Km (single-mode full duplex) and is applied to highway network system, mine communication system and other chain multi-point networks.

l          Adaptive 10Mbps, 100Mbps and 1000Mbps environments, for the convenience of network upgrade

l          Efficient built-in switching core, to implement flow control and reduce broadcast packets

l          Provide three 10/100/1000Mbps auto-adaptive crossing twisted pair ports, support electrical ports backup and multi users' access.

l          Support full-duplex and half-duplex transmission modes and capable of automatic negotiation

l          Support automatic crossing of twisted pair ports, for the convenience of system debugging and installation

l          Support Quality of Service (QoS) and ensuring transmission of VoIP packets

l          Support Spanning Tree Protocol (STP) to form a redundant network

l          Low power consumption, low heat and capable of stable operation for a long period time

l          Supporting multiple types of fiber ports, such as dual-fiber multi-mode, dual-fiber single-mode and single-fiber single-mode, to satisfy the extended requirements of users
