Overview
HiOSO FOWAY8000N series cascaded (16-node) digital video optical transceiver adopts uncompressed digital video transmission, which combine TDM (Time Division Multiplexing) technique and ADM (Add/Drop Multiplexer) technique. 16-node cascaded optical transceiver adopts2.5Goptical transmission platforms, simultaneously transmitting 16 channels video signal in one fiber. It supports at least 16 nodes and 1~4 channels video. Central equipment can receive 16 channels video maximum.
Cascaded optical transceiver adopts modularization design; and supports function extending. The remote transceiver can supply 2 channels RS-485/422 shared data and 2 channels independent channel point-to-point data/audio signal. Each remote transceiver or local transceiver can transmit multi-channel audio, data and contact closure signal through adding audio/data extending board.
Cascaded optical transceiver supports optical chain protection (optional), which can automatically isolate fault node, ensuring other node transceivers work normally. It can also be configured with network management plug, to implement network management function of remote and local transceivers.
It is now widely used in security monitoring and control system, highway, ITS and so on.
