Specifications
foam filled fender is a kind of constructive fender with polyurea materials as its outer protective
layer and EVAfoam core forming the resilient inner part. Our Foam Filled Fenders are constructed of three parts each providing an important function in the construction and lifespan of the fender.
(1) The closed cell EVA foam core used inside offers un-sink ability during operation.
(2) Outer Rubber + Nylon Cord Fabrics
(3) The outer rubber + nylon cord fabrics is specifically designed to seal EVA foam inside
Material of foam filled fender
The polyurethane or SUPA elastomer is spray applied. This creates a high quality and homogeneous skin matrix
combining extreme wear resistance with non-marking properties and the option of high visibility colors.
prevent any leakage.Polyurea Spraying Coating Polyurea coating is permanent spray on coatings
that protect the surface of fender body.
It is more durable than rubber andflexible in all weather conditions; no softening in heat or becoming brittle in
cold. Dent, scratch and chemical resistant.
Technical parameters of FOAM FILLED MARINE FENDERS
1.The above performance parameters measured are based on static state;
2.Above reaction force and energy absorption to lerance of ±10%3.Fender accessories have all been hot dip galvanized anti-corrosion treatment.
Quality Control of foam filled fender
foam filled fender we use in the construction of our Foam Filled Fenders is the closed cell type.
It is made from Ethylene Vinyl Acetate and blended copolymers. It has a high level of chemical cross linking.
These foams are flexible and resilient making them ideal for fendering products. Importantly, the foams are
also chemically inert and nonabsorbentmaking them suitable for use in marine environments.
Our closed cell EVA foams are available in a range of densities from 120 kg/m3 to 140 kg/m3.
