General Description  

MD-01 direct inductive torque tester is a new generation of high precision tester designed and produced by our company for the purposes of expanding the market of special drilling and production equipment and facilities in oilfields. Special metal materials and technique of engaged surface are used in combination with mechanic and hydraulic driving for the detection of dynamic high torque in real-time. It is an ideal product used for replacing the domestic universal shaft paster torque sensor, tension sensor of hydraulic idle wheel and top-screw rotary torque sensor. It is anti-explosion, direct display with dial scale has the advantages of (can be converted to digital display), long usage life, maintenance free, compact and easy installation. It is used testing the land drilling rigs, offshore drilling platforms and testing the dynamic parameters drill pipe torque of workover rigs in oilfields. For its installation, it is necessary to dismantle the original universal shaft (between reduction box and the rotary) and replace it with the direct inducting tester and a shorter universal shaft.

Features

The direct induction torque sensor is made up of mechanical drive and hydraulic induction. In the mechanic transmission, the axial force caused by torque transmission of truck-spanner clutch that is in proportion is used to detect the transferred torque by testing the axial force through a hydraulic sensitive element. The torque is indicated by using hand of dial for presenting the pressure changes. The truck-spanner type clutch is used in the whole system to enhance the gradient of the spanner, by which its wear and axial displacement are greatly imprinted. Generally its usage life is tens of time more than that the available thin-wall cylindrical torque gage with high detecting precision and wide testing range and with less influence of machining precision and physical property. The leakage hydraulic oil can be ignored because of circular design of the hydraulic chamber.

The Major Technical Parameters

1) Static Calibration: when standard torque from the torque gage is used for testing, the test error is less than ±3% of rate value.

2) The additional error of rotating velocity is changed within the range of rate value, the reading changes of torque is not more than ±5% of rated torque.

3) Over load torque testing, when the over load is not more than 120% of the rated torque, the test precision is still kept unchanged.

4) Within a short period, the impact load is not more than 150% of the rated torque.
