Raw material characteristics of MBT-75:

Use Characteristics

1. MBT-75 is most frequently used for NR, SBR, IIR and CR, used independently or together with basic accelerators. It is a semi-ultra, multi-ourpose accelerator with a long plateau effect. It provides vulcanizates with good physical properties.
2. In sulfur free compounds, MBT-75 acts as an anti-scorch agent, in CR compounds as a retarder.
3. MBT-75 is activated by basic accelerators as aldehyde amine and guanidine etc., and by thiurams and dithiocarbamates. Activated MBT-75 may scorch, however additional processing safety can be obtained by the use of a retarder as CTP-80.
4. It is non-discoloring and non-staining.

Processing Advantages The thermoplastic, excellent compatible EPDM/EVA binder which is combined with active dispersing promoters allows much more easy quickly incorporation and excellent dispersion in the rubber mixing. In this way, optimal activity of the effective MBT is assured.

Dosage:

NR and SBR: primary: 1.0~2.0phr with 2.0~3.0phr S-80;

secondary: 0.5~1.0phr with 0.2~0.3phr TMTD and 1.5phr S

IIR:  0.5~1phr with 0.5~1.5phr TMTD-80 and 1~2phr sulfur.
