Minimum pulley diameter

Minimum pulley diameter is only suitable for hot cure connection and designated belt tensile strength. Based on different joint type and working conditions (like temperature), pulley diameter may be different. When steel buckles are used for connection, minimum pulley diameter will increase at least by 50%.

Characteristic:

If characteristics of the list include FDA,BGA and EC, they just represent topside properties. Other properties are suitable for entire conveyor belt unless otherwise specified.

Grease resistance

The topsides are Nonex, Ropan PUR, Ropany1 TPU, Peflex PE, Amtel TPE-E, Nitrile NI or SilamSi and most conveyor belts with fabric as topside, they all have good resistance to animal oil, mineral oil and vegetable oil. The conveyor belt with the topside of Flexam or rubber has limited oil-resistance.

Anti-solvent and property of acid, alkali and salt

The topside of Peflex PE is featured by good chemical resistance. In general, most conveyor belts with other topside are anti-solvent to some extent, except ketone (like acetone), aromatic (like benzene and toluene), chlorinated hydrocarbon (like trichloroethylene and tetrachloroethylene), esters (like ethyl acetate) and ether. Anti-solvent property also applies to acid, salt, alkali and so on, except high concentration compound (concentrated sulfuric acid and concentrated nitric acid). Beware of solvent and Acid and alkali compounds infiltrating into fabric layer of conveyor belt or it will have an influence on adhesive force of conveyor belt between layers.

Joint type

Heat feeder is the best joint type. Cold feeder is also okay when belt works under the conditions that temperature is normal and air humidity is not very high. Please refer to relevant feeder information and equipment instruction for correct way of feeder. Stepping feeder must ensure that belt moves towards the right direction lest scrapper should be damaged.

Pattern and processing

The maximum width of conveyor belt with pattern depends on that of patterned roller. Some patterns require further coating processing. Normally, perforation process is possible. You can contact us for specific processing requirement.

Accessory
