1.      New generation cooling system control cabinet

Modern control cabinets of new generation are provided for automatic and manual control of ventilators motors, transformers electric pumps cooling systems in accordance with IEC requirements and individual requirements of the customer.

Control cabinets consist of standardized equipment where control, protection and measuring elements are installed. The elements are installed on two levels.

The level of switching devices and level of control and alarm units are separated. It provides protection of maintenance and operation. The control cabinet is casing in a metal structure with a door in front and rotary panel inside the casing.

Control cabinets can be equipped with monitoring and control microprocessor system. Microprocessor control system is simultaneously a substation monitoring system.

The system allows increasing life time of the updated transformers and considerably decreasing costs for their repair at the expense of due detection of defects in process of operation.

2.      Description of control cabinets

CC is a metal cabinet equipped with switching and protection units, control and signaling elements, and devices for microclimate provision in cabinet.

CC casing is a metal structure with a door in front. CC equipment is installed on the cabinet rear panel, except control units. Control units are located on the panel behind the door.

All the elements are manufactured in series.

CC has high reliability level, space-saving structure, and easy access to all the components.

The equipment distinctive feature is effective usage of work space, high safety and protection level from random contacts.

CC satisfies IEC requirements, technical specification.

3.      Control cabinets have the following functions:

CC provides:

a.       individual protection of ventilators, electric pumps against short circuit currents, overloads, open-phase modes

b.      automatic or manual selection of power circuits feeding source

c.       local(indicator lights in control cabinet) and remote (" dry" contacts) signaling;

d.      cooling system control in automatic mode and in manual mode

e.       automatic support of favorable microclimate in the cabinet

f.       local and remote signaling of cooling system elements condition

g.      possibility of reserve cooler functions transfer to any cooler for provision of even wear;

h.      electric pumps and (or) ventilators electric motors operation control by the set algorithm depending on load and temperature of oil transformer windings

i.        protection of cabinet circuits, electric pumps and ventilator electric motors against short circuit current, overload, open phase modes during operation from the main and reserve power sources.
