characters:Its apperance color is bright grey,the density is small, The smaller the silicon content, the higher the proportion . According to the content of silicon , this product can be divided into industrial FeSi and the FeSi with the Si content 80%,75%,65%,45%.

In the iron and steel smelting, ferrosilicon are often used as deoxidizer .It is also widely used in low-alloy structural steel, alloy steel, spring steel, bearing steel, heat-resistant steel and electrical silicon steel ;In ferroalloy production and chemical industry ,ferrosilicon is often used as  reducing agent .
