Applications 

1. Butyl rubber vulcanizates are characterized by impermeability to air, good resistance to aging, heat, acids, bases, ozone and other chemicals. These characteristics lead to the use of butyl rubber in tire inner tubes, tire curing bladders and bags, vibration isolators, roof and reservoir membranes and other calendered sheeting, pharmaceutical bottle stoppers, moulded mechanical goods, and other applications. Phenol Formaldehyde resin, used as curing agent for IIR is powdered form usually. It make invalid easily for its short storage life and get a poor dispersion in IIR due to agglomerate. Ordinary powdered zinc oxide has the same status in general IIR compounds. Rubber articles get disproportional performance due to the inhomogeneous dispersion of curing agents and activators agents in compounds. This status make a low pass and short durable lift, such as curing bladder cleft easily and perforating in working. It takes a very long mixing time (several times in contrast to NR and SBR) to obtain a so-so dispersion, and this result in a low efficiency.                                                                                                                          2. XLT-45 is pre-dispersed curing resin that made from imported curing resin and high purity zinc oxide which subjected to special treatment and blended with IIR binder and dispersion agent, thus can improve incorporation of resin and zinc oxide in IIR compound. It is suitable for IIR compounds, used as curing agents for anti-heating articles. XLT-45 can quickly combines with rubbers both in internal mixer and open mill, excellent dispersion, non-sticking ram or roller. Efficiency will be multiplied over 1 times.                                                                                           
3. XLT-45 prevents caking and agglomeration, with long storage life, avoiding the disadvantages of ordinary curing resins. All these advantages ensure the uniformity of the articles is suitable for the manufacture of quality products. Used for curing bladder, it can help obtain more favorable products with durable life obviously.

Dosage:   Curing agent for butyl rubber: 14~25phr. And additional zinc oxide is not necessary.

Storage stability: 12 months in original closed containers under cool and dry condition, avoiding exposure of product to direct sunlight.
