Use Characteristics
1. The active ingredient of ZDEC-70, zinc-diethyl-dithiocarbamate is a very fast primary rubber accelerator for natural and synthetic rubbers as NR, IR, BR, SBR, NBR and EPDM. The addition of thiurams and thiazoles accelerators can increase processing safety.
2. ZDEC-70 is used as a secondary accelerator in thiazole and sulfonamide cure systems. In EPDM rubber applications in order to control blooming, it is generally used in blends with other dithiocarbamates.
3. It is non-staining, non-discoloring and dispersed well, thus it is mainly used for transparent and light color products.
Dosage: In NR/SBR foamed application, 1.5phr ZDEC-70 in combination with 1.0phr ZMBT and 2.5phr S-80; as secondary accelerator, 0.1~0.4phr ZDEC-70 in combination with thiazoles and sulfenamides.
Applications
Mainly used in producing latex gloves, tires, inner tube, rubberized fabric, wire and curing products, suitable for butyl rubber and EPPM rubber, especially for rubber hoses, sealing joint trips and rubber belts.
