Specialty      

1.Good machinability and abrasivity, the life for processing tools is longer than SKD11, and the process time is shorter than SKD11.

2.Advantage on heat treatment: the quenching hardenability is higher than SKD11, can improve the defect of unenough hardness in the process of vacuum degassing.

3.Advantage on wire cutting: mitigate the residual stress and elimilate the retained Austenite through high temperature tempering, pretend the wire cutting process from cracking and deform.
4.Advantage on  surface hardening treatment: the surface hardness is higher than SKD11 after surface hardening treatment in order to improve the mold performance.
5.Advantage on repair welding job: the repair welding job is much more simple because the temperature of preheating and heating is lower than SKD11,
