Ⅰ.What is Semi-coke

   Semi-coke is also called Coke or Semi-coke or Coke Powder

   Semi-coke is fired by rich use of Shenfu's coal fields of high quality refined Jurassic coal block, as a new type of carbon material, with properties of its high fixed carbon, high specific resistance, high chemical activity, low ash content , low aluminum, low sulfur, and low phosphorus. It gradually replaces the metallurgical coke and is widely used in field production of Calcium Carbide, Ferroalloy, Ferrosilicon, Chemical Fertilizer, Sintering and Blast Furnace, etc. become an irreplaceable carbon materials.

Ⅱ．Production process

Semi-coke is a primary coal chemical products, using advanced dry distillation process with burning, After high temperatures, ammonia extingiushment and drying, The raw coal becomes Semi-coke. According to particle size, Semi-coke can be divided into four kinds of specification: Semi-cock35-45mm, Semi-cock18-35mm,Semi-cock8-18mm, Semi-cock 0-5mm.

Ⅲ．Uses of Semi-coke

Semi-coke has gradually been widely promoted in China because it is better than coke in the process of producing high energy-consuming products  such as Silicon metal, Ferroalloy, Ferrosilicon, Silicomanganese, Chemical fertilizer, Calcium carbide and with lower prices. According to the particle size and quality level, China Semi-coke is mainly used in the following areas:

1, Semi-cock 35-45mm currently mainly used for iron making, chemical fertilizer and other production;

2, Semi-cock 18-35mm is mainly used for calcium carbide and ferronickel production;

3,Semi-cock 8-18mm is widely used in the production of ferrosilicon, silicomanganese, ferroalloy and other areas;

4, Semi-cock 0-5mm is mainly used for civilian smokeless combustion, iron ore sintering, blast furnace injection.
