Spiral classifier, which can also be called spiral separator, is one of the ore dressing equipment
which classifies the materials using the principle that different solid materials have different settlement speed in the liquid due to the difference in proportion.
Spiral classifier is also called classifier for short.
The classifiers can be divided into high weir type, single and double spiral, and immersed single spiral and double spiral type.The screw classifiers are widely used in the separation of ore in closed circuits with ball mills, grading ore and fine slit in gravity mills, grading granularity and flow of metal ore-dressing, and de-sliming and dehydrating in washing.
