Appearance and Character: BP-1 is a benzophenone type UV absorber. It is compatible with a wide range of polymers. BP-1is particularly recommended for using in polystyrene, epoxy, nail polish and elastomers. It is also effective to protect colorant , polymethyl methacrylate and coatings.

Applications: 

1.Polystyrene: 0.2~0.5wt% based on polymer weight. 

2.Elastomers (Polyisoprene, Chlorosulfonated Polyethylene): 0.2~0.3wt% based on polymer weight. 

3.Epoxy resins: 0.3~0.5wt% based on polymer weight.

4.Polymethyl methacrylate: 0.2~0.5 wt% based on polymer weight. 

5.Coatings: 0.5~1.5wt% based on solids.

Stability and Storage: BP-1 can be sately handled without any irritation caused to the skin, and should be stored in a closed system and be kept in a dark place without any light exposure.
