The Powerail types DMHP are totally enclosed, touch-proof conductor systems for safe mobile power feeding of:

Overhead Cranes, Monorail Systems, Electric Hoists, Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems, Electric Power Tools, Machine Tools, Assembly and Test Lines, Hanger Door Motors, Studio & Station Lighting Systems and many other applications.

These Powerail can be used for indoor and outdoor applications. Because of the more favourable thermal properties we recommendto use a Powerail type with yellow housing  for outdoorapplications.

Main characteristics are minimum space requirement, easy installation and resistance against corrosion.

The DMHP powerrail enclosed conductor system complies with ISO900, CCC and international standards as well as accident prevention regulations. It is protected to IP 23 standards.
The DMHP can be supplied with sealing strip and heating system. The powerail with sealing strip is protected to IP 23 standards.

End caps

The open ends of the powerail are closed by end caps for DMHP
Hangers

Standard brackets for powerial attachment to crane girders are available . powerail with sliding and fixpoint hangers.

Expansion during temperature fluctuation
The Expansion sections are required to compensate the different expansions between copper conductors and steel- or concrete structures, in varying temperatures without interrupting electrical power.
Expansion joints are used when the Powerail length between feeds, curves, switches or other fix points is exceeding 20 m.
Install one expansion joint every 100 m.
The different expansions between the plastic housing and the copper conductors will be compensated in every joint.

Collectors
The current collectors are made of re-inforced polyester fiberglass, for high strength and light weight. Spring loaded carbon brushes maintain uniform contact. Connecting cables and hinged or flexible towing arms included.
Double collectors for transfer applications and higher amperage.protection device is not designed for the load capacity of this cable.
