Stainless steel has the properties of smooth surface, high plasticity/tenacity/mechanical strength, and resistance to acid/alkali gas/liquid or other corrosive substances. It is a kind of alloy steel that does not easily get rusted but not absolutely incorruptible.

Generally speaking, stainless steel plate is the overall name for stainless steel plates and acid-resistant steel  plates.
