  TSP

TSP is thermally stable polycrystalline diamond, a versatile material with the hardness of diamond, thermal stability up to 1200°C, and the ability to be manufactured into numerous shapes and sizes.

One of the primary applications for TSP is wear protection on the gage of drill bits, but in softer formations, it can be used as a primary cutting element, as well. Because of their performance properties, TSP can also be used in cutting tools, as dressers, as a die material for drawing wire, and for numerous other wear applications.

Thermal Stable Polycrystalline diamond (TSP) can be manufactured into a variety of sizes and shapes (Cubes, Cylinders, Discs, Rectangles, Triangles, Spheres etc.) that can be inserted into cutting tools, drilling bits, reamers, wire drawing dies, and other wear-resistant components. Drill bits and reaming shells made with TSP diamonds are suitable for drilling in soft rocks with hardness below 7 degrees, such as lime rock, marble, shale, etc, and in medium to hard rocks with coarse grains.

TSP diamond for oil drill bits are suitable for oil mining fields, cutting tools, wire drawing dies etc. TSP diamond for oil drill bits It is achieved in an environment of high temperature and super high pressure and thermally stable up to 1,200°C for its insert binder (mainly Si). Its SiC has a similar coefficient of thermal expansion to that of diamond & enjoys very good wear-resistance.

Applications:
