Flexible Rubber Joint
 Buried Protective Device

The flexible rubber joint buried protective device developed by our company is designed with enough space around and has no influence on rubber joints displacement performance and can separate rubber joint from exterior earth layers and keep pipes freely moving at device ends without resistance. After installing pipes lines, the backfilled ground will be leveled off as usual, on which, vehicles can run well, heavy materials are placed or equipment be installed.

 The buried device consists of two hollow hemicycles, which cover the rubber joint and pipe flat welding flange, there are two hemicycle planes on both ends and steel balls installed on exterior pipelines of flanges on two sides so as to help slide, which will not damage the pipeline exterior surface and ensure pipe line use period. The device exterior round surface and vertical plane support shall be based on earth layer depth so as to bear above pressure.

 The device is equipped with some involution lock bolts for next installation. Installation direction: install rubber joint, paint asphalted in-side protective device, install below ? of protective device, put upside ? of protective device, close involution lock bolt (keep the rubber joint remaining at the center of the device when installing) paint asphaltum outside the protective device, back fill earth, tamp and press below and upside parts, concrete and cushion rubber, pave ground(better set permanent sign for later check and change).

  The device is the only invention in the country, and it was ever well used in Guangdong Dongguan 4th Water Supply Plant, Qinghai Salt Lake Project and Shanghai Changqiao Water Supply Plant in 2000, 2001 and 2002. 


  Special attention: please provide buried depth in order so that we can design reasonable protective device for you. Generally the device can be used for over 30 years if anti-erosion on the device surface is well done.
