The GS highway barriers also so called tollway barriers has designed a high speed barrier dedicated to toll applications, especially highways/motorways, here reliability, endurance and the correct technology to manage major vehicle flows is essential.

GS Highway barrier permits short opening and closing times without the barrier boom bouncing in

the end positions. The lever system locks thebarrier boom at both end positions. In theevent of a power failure,the barrier arm can be fully opened or full closed as optional.

 

The complete drive system is attached to the barrier housing as a single unit, and can easily

be removed from the housing by removing the mounting screws.A built in spring mechanism provides a precise counterbalance for the barrier boom. The springs are factory set to correspond

with the boom length prior to delivery. If necessary, the springs can be easily reset in situ during assembly, for example if the barrier boom is shortened or if signs are attached to the boom.

    Technology

  • Adopts specially-designed AC220V torque motor. The maintenance-free motor is employed which might be stopped at any position and no damage will be caused. When it is located at the two ends the motor's power shall be automatically reduced to 20W it may save the energy avoid the conditions of condensation and corrosion moreover it may normally work in cold season;
