Polyester needle punched filter felt
Polyester needle felt is the most versatile, most cost effective and most widely used filter medium for dust collection. It is strong, abrasion resistant, can work up to 150°C and has good resistance to common acids, solvents and oxidising agents.

Metamax needle felt(Nomex felt)
Metamax is the mixture of 95% m-aramid and 5% p-aramid. Metamax needle felt is meta-aramid fiber invented and manufactured by Heading Filter. NOMEX fibers are from the generic fiber group called meta-aramid. Another brand name from this fiber group is CONEX and NOMEX. 


 

 

Acrylic needle felt
Normally in filtration acrylic refers to homopolymer acrylic which is essentially made from 100% of acrylonitrile. Homopolymer acrylic needle felt and filter bags for industrial filtration. This kind of needle felt is with good ability of acid and alkali resistance, anti-oxidation, hydrolysis resistance. It suits middle temperature and high acid, alkali chroma environment. PTFE needle punched felt
PTFE needle punched felt are produced from 100% PTFE fiber which has been punched in three-dimensional structure. They have excellent features such as excellent flexibility, molding capability, high tensile strength, creep resistance, high and low temperature resistance, corrosion resistance and anti-aging. 100% PTFE filter material can meet requirements in hostile environments of temperature fluctuating and acid & alkali in all PH range. The lifespan of PTFE filter material will be guaranteed for over 4 years as long as the temperature is controlled under the maximum operating temperature.


 

 

PP needle punched felt
Polypropylene is a relatively low temperature fiber with quite excellent chemical resistance which finds use in specialist applications such as the chemical industry.
The fibers cannot hydrolyze, the only chemical weakness being a susceptibility to oxidizing agents. Other than that they can be used almost universally provided the temperature is below 90°C.The fiber is of a low density (it floats in water) and so a given denier of fiber is much larger in diameter than the polyester equivalent. This leads to felts being quite thick, almost 50% thicker than for the same polyester weight.The fiber is very prone to static build up so the felts are often augmented by the incorporation of either conductive fibers or a conductive scrim or a combination of the two. This then helps to dissipate potential static electric discharges.
