C50 steel is high-quality carbon structural steel under the standard EN 10083-2. 

1. EN10083-2 C50 steel characteristics:

C50 is high strength medium carbon steel and it's cold deformation plasticity is low. Welding performance and hardenability is poor for C50 steel. But its no temper brittleness and cutting performance is well. C50 steel is usually used under the condition normalizing, quenching or tempering. 

2. EN10083-2 C50 steel application:

C50 steel is used in the manufacture of mechanical product and spring requiring high wear resistance, dynamic load and the impact is not big, such as forging gear, tie rod, roller, shaft, friction plate, agricultural soil plough share, heavy load spindle and so on.

6. EN10083-2 C50 steel heat treatment specification and microstructure:

heat treatment: normalizing, 830℃; quenching, ,830℃; tempering, 600℃.

7. EN10083-2 C50 steel delivery state:

With no heat treatment or heat treatment (annealing, normalizing and high temperature tempering) status of delivery. Heat treatment state delivery should be indicated in the contract, not specified, the delivery state is no heat treatment.

9.Payment : Usually 30% of the amount by T/T as deposit , and the balance money shall be paid by T/T after got the faxed B/L.Or L/C at sight .
