Drum type external filtration vacuum filter: Product Introduction: The drum is the main part of drum type external filtration vacuum filter. Drums of large filter are welded by steel plate while those of small filter are made of thick wood plate. The surface of the drum is separated axial thorough filter chambers along the circle direction by division bars. Chambers are completely separated with strict seal. Filter plate spreads inside the chamber which makes filter liquid to pass through and supports the filter cloth. It's applied to filter fine and low moisture content metal and nonmetal concentrate, dehydrate flotation coal concentrate and separate solid and the liquid of hard sedimentation suspension in concentration, metallurgical, chemical and paper making industries. Working Principle:

Regarding the pressure produced by vacuum suction as the drive, the filter is consisted of dispenser head, transmission structure and discharge structure. There are many axially separated filter chambers. The speed-variable motor drives the body to revolve. The filter immerses in the slurry. The chamber is pumped to form negative pressure by vacuum. The liquid of the slurry enter into the chamber through the filter cloth and is discharged out by dispenser head. The solid materials which adhere on the cloth are filter cakes. The dispenser head separates dry filter zone, dehydrate zone, discharge zone and filter cloth cleaning zone. The dispenser head controls all filter chambers and materials get through all these areas in turn to become filter cakes during the rotation.
