Product Introduction:
Drum type external filtration permanent magnetic vacuum filter is mainly applied to dewater coarse particles of magnetic materials with upper feeding. It's more obvious for those coarse (0.15mm-0.8mm) and magnetic materials that are hard to form filtration cakes in other filters. It's suitable for high density, sedimentation speed, magnetic separation and concentration flotation, especially for coarse particles of iron. Outer belt filters are mainly used for metal and nonmetal fine particles with low moisture content.
Working Principle:
Strontium ferrite permanent magnetic system is installed inside the drum which drives magnetic particles to adhere onto the filter cloth. The magnetic filter is mainly applied to dewater coarse and magnetic concentrate slurry. Upper feeding makes effects of size lamination more obvious. When magnetic concentrate forms filter cakes, particles are subjected to gravity and magnetic form. Coarse particle concentrates move faster than the fine ones towards the filter cloth. They firstly contact with the cloth so the permeability is good. In addition, magnetic particles distribute radially on the drum surface and produce magnetic stirring with magnetic variation which becomes favorable conditions to dewater the filter cake. It not only produces thick and permeable cakes but also remarkably increases productivity by 3 times as much as drum vacuum filter of the same specification.
Performance Characteristics:
1.Transmission device:it's composed of motor, continuously variable transmission, and worm gear reducer. 2.Body:It's composed of shell and tube. There are numerous filtration chambers separated by rope groove around the shell with polyethylene filter plate. The filter plate outsources to pass the filter cloth and is pressed by rubber rod in rope groove and twined with equal distance by stainless steel. Each filter chamber is connected with vacuum pump through dispenser head. 3.Magnetic system: it constitutes open magnetic system by strontium ferrite permanent magnetic system, mainly relying on magnetic force to impel magnetic particles to adhere to the shell. 4.Material container: it's the groove for feeding and containing above the shell. Adjustable overflow weir baffle is installed which can alter the slurry level according to different materials. 5.Dispenser head: it's consisted of dispenser head and pressure device. The dispenser head is responsible for regular mechanical control like " blowing the mine" , " drying the mine" and " rewashing the filter cloth" . The indicator shows the pressure alteration of filtration. 6.Coiling device: it's comprised of leverage driven by chain transmission and guide wheel drum. It's used when renewing filter cloth and can be unloaded after winding the steel wire. Dense winding and winding at fixed pitch are both available. 7.Overflow groove: it's composed of base and overflow groove. The former aims at installing and supporting the body while the latter is the groove to carry the liquid and clean the filter cloth.
