The major advantage of rolling forged balls,compared with traditional up-set forging grinding balls,is high stability,and the difference between surface and core have been minimized,which leads to a result that the uniformity of slurry can be improved and therefore communition and flotation productivity can be improved.A unique feature of the HOUDE manufacturing process is on-line heat-treatment facilities,which is self-designed and ensures our technology in leading position in the world.

Detailed properties are as follows:

1.High throughout hardness:the surface hardness could be HRC 60-65;the average volumetric hardness could be HRC 60-65.

2.AK≧12J/cm2.

3.Good ductility and none breakage:our drop balls test result shows 100% better than national standard.

4.No loss of roundness:in the mill,Houde balls won't be out of round from start to finish.

Chemical composition

    High quality carbon round steel rods and hot rolled(or continuous casting)round steel rod from feputable steel mills are used as raw materials for Houde rolling forged grinding balls.These materials are designed in house and specialized for Houde rolling forged balls.Houde products are manufactured according to Houde rolling forged balls specification which is much higher than national standard.

Chemical Composition of steel rods used in our company is as follows: 

C:0.37-1.05	Si:≦2.0%
Cr:≦3.5%	Mo,V,Ti,Cu:≦0.5%
Ni:≦0.5%	P:≦0.050%
Mn:≦2.0%	S:≦0.050%
