The 60S00 Series HP heater drain control valve is a kind of high differential pressure control valve with the pressure balanced cage structure. The trim cage and plug adopt a mixed multi-hole and tandem structure to make sure there is no occurrence of cavitation when saturated water passes the control valve. With the cage multi-stage throttling, the throttling area gradually increases, which meets the requirements for saturated water vaporization volume expanding, so that fluid velocity is reduced and erosion of trims by the fluids is lowered. The throttling part is separable from the sealing face to effectively protect the sealing face. The trim surface is subjected to hardening treatment, reaching a hardness of about HRC70. It is featured by good erosion resistance and long service life. The valve is used for HP heater draining in thermal power plants and can also serve as a deaerator level control valve. The HP heater drain control valve can be pneumatically or electrically controlled.
