Product Introduction
The ZBL-R620 Rebar Locator is an portable, quick and easy-to-use instrument for inspecting reinforcing bars in concrete. The Rebar Locator generates a magnetic field and measures any change induced by presence of the magnetic material. The magnitude of this change is indicated on the instrument meter, which has been calibrated to read directly in diameter and depth of the bar.
The use of the instrument is not restricted to inspecting reinforcing bars, but any magnetic material and ferromagnetic objects.
Applications
Determine the location, depth, diameter and orientation of tendons in prestressed concrete.
Measure the concrete cover.
Detect location of tendon splices and broken ends, etc. in prestressed concrete.
