Threaded button bits be used for hydraulic rock drill (or pneumatic rock drill) and hydraulic drill rod. Through different forms of thread and thread size connected with drill rod, mainly used in underground mine exploitation, open pit mining project, quarrying, tunneling, water well drilling, etc. Thread button bit were made by Boart Longyear's Element six tungsten carbide and TIMKEN steel, and all the thread button bits are produced through heat treatment in the production process, and tungsten carbides are inserted by hot press technology. After special process, the thread button bits can bear the hardness strong rock formation, and it cans strength the bit tooth. Flat face, drop center face can be supplied. Normal type and retrac type can be offered too.

Taper button bits as a chisel and cross bit upgrade products, they can be used in all rock formations except very hard and abrasive formations. Taper button bits have different connect degree and diameter. It made by Boart longyear's T6 tungsten carbide and TIMKEN steel. Taper button bits have long service life. The drilling speed is faster compared with the traditional slices drill bit, it can speed up the project. The skirt of the bits is designed as long skirt type and short skirt type.
