They are easily installed,totally invisible from either side when the door is closed. 

Secure mounting in the wood door or panel is assured by tightening the tensioning screw.
To accommodate hinge loadings, the cylinders can be additionally secured by installing a chipboard or wood screw in the groove on the
exposed end.
