General Description

9969 Structural Silicone Sealant is a one-component, neutral-curing silicone sealant, which is used in structural sealing for glass, stones(marble & granite), aluminum curtain wall, glass skylight, and metal structural engineering, with excellent structural sealing properties and resistance to weathering.

Method of Use

First, you shall ensure that the substrates to be treated are clean and dry, with rust, dust and oil removed. You shall choose solvent for cleaning if necessary, dry before use.

Second, you shall paste protective material on the protected area, but do not touch surface to be treated

Third, you shall apply sealant to surface to be treated using a sealant gun

Forth, rework before curing, to ensure a smooth and beautiful appearance

Limitations

not for leaking grease, plasticizers or solvents, such as oil-soaked wood surfaces

not for airtight environment, because silicone sealant needs to absorb moisture in the air for curing

not for frost or wet surfaces

not for areas continuously immersed in water or wet areas throughout the year

application not recommended when surface temperature below 10 or above 40 ℃

Health and Safety / Storage

9969 Structural Silicone Sealant has no toxicity after fully cured, but it shall avoid contact with eyes before curing. Rinse with plenty of water and seek medical treatment if contact with eyes. Touch by children shall be prohibited.9969 Structural Silicone Sealant will release a low molecular substance when curing, so it is necessary for use in a ventilated environment. Shelf life is assured for 9 months from date of manufacture when stored under 26℃ in a cool and dry place.
