Description

Anadrol's primary clinical applications include treatment of osteoporosis and anaemia, as well as stimulating muscle growth in malnourished or underdeveloped patients.
Later, non-steroidal drugs such as epoetin alfa were developed and proven to be more effective as a treatment for anaemia and osteoporosis without the side effects of oxymetholone. The drug remained available despite this and eventually found a new use in treating HIV wasting syndrome

Applications:

Also known as Anadrol, Oxymetholone is known to have progestenic properties and help in retention of water. It has a very high anabolic/androgenic ratio and is used to enhance muscle mass and strength, using a solvent system consisting of a mixture of benzene and alcohol (98:2), through the fourth sentence of the second paragraph under Procedure.
