KOLORTEK's metallic pigments for expoxy coating are made by mica coated iron oxides. By he coating different thickness of metal oxide layer, the pigments achieve excellent metallic effect lusters. Metal luster pearl pigments unfold their effect just like nature: they reflect the light like natural pearls. This gives the impression of transparency and a softly shimmering tone. These unique pigments are designed to be field blended with a 100% solids clear epoxy binder. When the metallic particles are mixed with epoxy they give the coating a shine that reflects light and creates and eye-catching dramatic color.
