Rain Tester is to determine the penetration resistance of fabrics or composites at different intensities of water impact. Simulated rain horizontally impacts fabric samples mounted vertically in a stainless steel bath. Samples are backed with a standardised blotting paper which is weighed before and after each test.  

Principle: Use the weighted absorbent paper to wrap over the test sample, make the test sample under water spraying for 5 minutes in controlled conditions, then re-weighted the absorbent paper to determine the amount of water infiltrated in the test sample during the spraying process.
