The idea of a motorized skateboard isn't new, but most have come up short in one way or another. The E-GO Cruiser is one of the first electric longboards that we've seen that checks all the boxes: the deck, trucks and wheels are high quality, the electronic components are compact and efficient, and the price is right. That being said, no matter what type of board you're on, skateboarding on an electric or motorized longboard can be DANGEROUS! We recommend that you spend some time with your new E-GO on a flat, clean surface so you can get used to how it operates before commuting to work or the local coffee shop. Wear a helmet and the appropriate safety gear. And remember, the E-GO Cruiser is designed for personal transportation. If you try and boardslide it or ride it through a puddle you will kill its motor and that's not covered under E-GO's warranty. Use common sense and have fun!
