[Intended Use]

Used to measurement of APOB concentration in human serum. Clinical studies have shown determination in favor of APOB diagnosis and detection of coronary artery disease (CAD). More studies have shown that, APOA1 and HDL-C have similar clinical interpretation. APOB determination as ECHO dangerous predictor is better than LDL-C.

[Test Principle]

Immunoturbidimetry with two point end assay. When a specimen is mixed with the reagents, APOB in the specimen combines with the anti-human APOB antibody in the reagent to yield an insoluble aggregate that causes increased turbidity in the solution. The absorbance (700/ 340 nm) of reaction turbidity is proportional to the concentration of APOB in the specimen, and can be measured optically.
