[Intended Use]
Used to measurement ofβ2-MG concentration in human serum and urinary. Concentration of β2-MG increased earlier and significant than creatinine in serum. Common in acute nephritis, chronic nephritis and chronic renal failure and other diseases; hypertension and diabetes can also cause elevated β2-MG. Elevated β2-MG in urinary was seen major in pyelonephritis, antibiotics toxic nephropathy, and other heavy metal poisoning caused tubular injury.
[Test Principle]
Latex-enhanced immunoturbidimetry with two point end assay. β2-MG and latex microsphere coated withβ2-MG antibody occurs agglutination reaction in the liquid phase of human serum. Which cause liquid turbidity change, using turbidimetric method to measure turbidity at 800/ 570 nm, with the presence of a certain amount of antibody, turbidity is proportional to the β2-MG concentration.
