Pure Essential Oil

Tea Tree - (Maleleuca alernifolia)

 

It was captain Cook who was responsible for calling melaleuca "Tea Tree". In 1770 when he and his men landed in Australia. Cook observed the Aborigines brewing the leaves of a dark green bush into a medicinal tea. Tea tree oil became a part of both Aboriginal folk medicine and white Australian culture.
It is said to be the most powerful antiseptic oil in nature.

 

The essential oil: 

 

  The oil is steam distilled from the leaves and terminal branchlets of the tree. It is colourless to pale yellow, clear and smells firm and spicy, a masculine sort of smell. The principal constituents are terpenes (50 - 60%), cineol, sesquiterpenes and sesquiterpenic alcohol.

Directions: 

 

Oral Infections: ulcers, abscesses, gingivitis 
Infections O.R.L. : Ear infections, sinusitis, tonsillitis, nasopharyngitis 
gynecological infections: vaginal discharge, vaginitis, salpingtes 
Urinary tract infections: cystitis, urethritis 
Parasitic skin and gut, insect bites 
Skin abscess, acne, rosacea, eczema 
Weakness, general exhaustion, fatigue and brain heart 
Varicose veins, heavy legs, hemorrhoids 

External Use:

 

  3 to 4 drops used to massage the affected body part or apply locally for skin diseases. 
For fatigue, massage along the spine and on the inner wrists, 
In diffusion, mixed with other oils for the prevention of colds and respiratory infections. 
Insect Bite: 3 drops Lavander EO + 1 drop Tea tree EO + 1 drop Geranium EO. (2 to 3 drops of the mixture to apply on the affected area every three minutes till marked improvement) 
Abscess: Tea Tree EO+ Clovebud EO + Lavender EO 1 drops of each to be applied locally (up to 3 times daily). 
Bronchitis: Tea Tree EO , Eucalyptus EO and Cinnamon EO. Mix 2 drops each with a little vegetable oil and massage on the solar plexus, up to 4 times a day. 
Antidandruff: 30 drops of Tea Tree EO + 50 ml of Jojoba oil. Massage the scalp and leave it for 1 hour. Then wash the hair with mild shampoo.
