Flat Rib Lath
Installation:
* Rib-Lath must fixed with the apexes of the ribs in contact with the support or the backing.
* Rib-Lath should be lapped at the sides wire tied at intervals not exceeding 150mm.
* At the end of the sheets, the Rib-Lath should be overlapped with at least 100mm (4" ).
Application of Flat Rib Lath:
Rib Lath is widely used as plaster backing on ceilings, walls and stud partitions. It is also ideal material for refurbishing damaged and aged masonry walls when a key for rendering is not certain due to disintegration or softening of the wall face.
With stronger ribs, it has widely applied to concrete structure projects. It has better stress strength and free shape, mostly used as concrete permanent dismantle free template for civil engineering.
