Forged Steel Grinding Balls For Ball Mill

Feature:
1) High Hardness: surface hardness of forged steel ball is to 50-60 HRC and volume hardness is to 40-50 HRC;
2) High Impact Toughness: impact toughness is more than 12 J/cm2;
3) Low Broken Rate: the actual broken rate is not higher than 1%;
4) Even Wear-resistance: the loss of ball round rate is 50-360 g/ton.

Forged Steel Grinding Balls chemical composition

    It's high quality carbon/ally steel bars (hot rolled or continuous cast in various specifications) that  are used for making grinding media ,The diameter of bars should be equal  to the nominal diameter of hot rolled balls. Normally, the length of each bar is 2.5-4m.

Chemical composition of steel bars used in our plant is as follows:

                 C:0.5~1.0%             Cr:0.5~3.5%

                 Si:0.4~2.0%             Mo:≤0.5%

                 Mn:0.7~2.5%            Ni: ≤0.5%

  Our plant  can adjust the above chemical composition according to customer's requirement, and balls with special requirement, and balls with special grade appointed by customers can be produced as well. 

  Steel drum (800-900kg per drum) or flexible container bag (1000kg per bag)
