ABOUT THE FRAME: The Fuji Altamira CX 1.1 is built around a frame made from Fuji's C10 high modulus carbon fiber, which is renowned for its rigidity and impeccable power transfer abilities, which is crucial when you're going full gas during the 45-minute heart attack we call a CX race. The top tube has been specifically shaped for portaging, to it's easier to shoulder your bike while running. The bike features an oversized BB86 bottom bracket shell and a tapered 1-1/2" headtube to increase the overall rigidity of the bike, enhance power transfer, and improve handling. The rear dropouts have a post-mount disc tab to accommodate the SRAM Red 22 hydraulic disc brakes. The full carbon fiber fork features a tight race rake, carbon steerer tube, and post-mount disc tab.

ABOUT SRAM RED 22 HYDRO: SRAM has long been a favorite of the 'cross crowd, and for good reason. Their firm roots in making MTB equipment has leant their road components a reputation for toughness, if not invicibility, in the muddy conditions we encounter every fall.
