Brief introduction

 

1).Design and manufacture according to GB/T 14406 "General gantry crane".

 

2).Mainly made up of bridge, trolley, crane traveling mechanism and electric system.

 

3).The gantry crane bridge is welded structure of boxtype girder; Individual drives are adopted for traveling mechanism on each end of the crane.

 

4).Crane conductors are either rigid shapes of steel or flexible insulated cable.

 

5).Gantry crane is suitable for shipping yard and those workshop without columns.

 

6).Also can equipped with many lifting device for special work.

MOTORS: The motors used are especially crane duty suitable for frequent starting, reversing & braking in accordance with IS-325. Motors are totally enclosed in dust proof construction foot / flange mounted TEFC, Sq. cage/ Slip ring motors with integrated safety brakes, insulation class 'F', IP54 protection for hoisting, CT & LT motions.

 

BRAKES: Single/dual-disc/ shoe electromagnetic/ EHT brakes with features like automatic braking on power failure (FAIL SAFE).

 

GEAR BOX: Gear boxes body are fabricated with MS Plate and consists accurate hob cut helical / spur gears & pinions having hardness 250 to 350 BHN made from carbon alloy steel. All gears & pinions run on antifriction type ball / roller bearings in totally enclosed oil bath giving constant splash lubrication. The helical / Spur gears are designed for adequate strength and optimum wear resistance for smooth operation & long life.

 

ELECTRICAL PANEL: Standard design, ease to install and maintain, reliable operation, fuse less circuitry, ducted wiring and compact terminals. Motor overload protection to prevent overloading.

 

LIMIT SWITCH:Safety limit switches provided for all motions.

 

PAINTING: Two coats of primer during assembly with shot blasting & two coats of synthetic enamel paint after Erection & testing.
