2014 has seen the introduction of 911SIGNAL's amber-color FireDragon beacon, a high cost-performance and energy-saving beacon light for use atop maintenance or engineering vehicles,
or on construction equipment such as trucks, bulldozers, or excavators. They are also used on fixed plant equipment or fire, safety, or control panel alarms.
FD24 beacons have eight flash patterns including rotating mode, and can be linked to each other and synchronized.
Delivering high cost-value while maintaining reliability has mainly come through close work with supply partners to get tailored LEDs for this new design, while both retaining and adding unique features.
One of these characteristics is staunch dual-protection water-resistance, which is dealt with in two ways.
Water infiltration of the larger unit is prevented through seal loops in the base, which also has specially placed holes to dissipate any vapors that do happen to occur.
Each individual LED module is also encapsulated for localized internal waterproofing.
There are four installation options for the FD24, including our unique " Flexi Din" mounting to help prevent breakage in the event that this top-side light is struck by a tree branch, fork-lift, or other object.
The Flexi Din mount allows the base to bend and shift slightly to the side if the light is struck or pushed.
Stability is also improved with the tooth-structure of the lampshade and six internal screws in the base. Other install methods offered are magnet, single-point, and three-point.
