Characteristics

White powder or granule; Melting point 622 °C ; Easily soluble in water; It has remarkable chelating capacity to

metal ions of Ca²⁺ and Mg²⁺ etc. and can soften hard water to change suspension into solution, alkalinity, without

causticity . It is a surfactant, and has outstanding emulsification to lubricants and fat.

Application

As main auxiliary of synthetic detergent,soap synergistic agent,water softener,sequestering agent,and defloculating

agent in detergent industry.

Also used in tanning agent for leather making, auxiliary for dyeing; As an effective dispersion agent for suspensions

of coatings, ceramic,kaolin, magnesium oxide, calcium carbonate and drilling mud etc.; As an oil contamination resistance

agent in paper production.
