The Applications of Melamine

At 1st, melamine is used in decorative and protective laminates used to manufacture furniture, flooring and fiberboard.

The 2nd application for melamine is impregnating resins and adhesive resins used in the wood-processing industry for production of Particleboard (PB) and Medium Density Fiberboard (MDF).

And also, melamine is used as the raw material to produce various surface coatings, enamels and automotive paint additives. High-quality melamine is also used to manufacture a wide variety of household, commercial and industrial molded products; such as kitchen ware; specialty papers; treat textiles such as upholstery fabrics, flame-retardant clothing, heat resistant gloves and aprons, and thermal liners.
