Property:A mixture of several isomers
White crystal flake in appearance, combustible, freezing point of 72~74degree celsius, relative density of 0.89(90/4degree celsius), and boiling point of 280~302℃. It is insoluble in water, slightly soluble in alkaline, and soluble in a mixture of methanol and potassium hydroxide water solution(50%) of 1:1, as well as alcohol, acetone and non-volatile oil. The industrial goods are liquid in appearance.
Applications:
It is used for producing surfactant with non-ionic, ionic and Gemini types. It has multi-function of emulsification, dispersibility and wetting. It is a raw material for non-ionic surfactant such as alkylphenol additive, demulsifier, metal cleaner, emulsifier, wetting agent and leveling agent. It is also used as antioxidant, stabilizer and raw materials for auxiliary in rubber and plastics industry.
