Description
YL-SNF-C is a naphthalene-based highly effective water reducing agent for promoting accelerated early and ultimate strength development, commonly referred to as a superplasticizer, also named Naphthalene Sulfonate Formaldehyde Condensate (NSF), SNF, PNS and FDN etc.
YL-SNF-C contains no chloride, non-corrosive to steel bars, non-poisonous, odorless, and non-flammable. It complies with ASTM Designation C494, Type F, ASTM C 1017, GB8076-2008 and GB50119-2003 etc.
Uses
1. Produces the high slump flowing concrete with no loss in strength.
2. Produces low water/cement ratio concrete with high strengths.
3. Ideal for using in high strength concrete, flowing concrete, early strength concrete, precast steam curing concrete, prestressed concrete etc. where it is desired to keep the water/cement ratio to a minimum and still achieve the degree of workability necessary to provide easy placement and consolidation.
4. Be used as basic material to produce others compound admixtures, (such as accelerating and water-reducing admixture, retarding and water-reducing admixture, pumping antifreeze and pumping water-reducing admixture, etc.)
Advantages
1. Substantial improvement in workability without increased water or the risk of segregation. Normalset without retardation, even when overdosed. Improved density and surface finish.
2. High water reducing rate. 40% increase in 28 day strengths. High strengths after 8 hours.
3. Compatible with Portland cement, Normal Portland cement, Portland Slag Cement, Flyash Cement, Portland Pozzolanic Cement, etc.
4. Improve workability (slump) of concrete when added into mixing truck.

Dosage
0.5 – 1.5% by weight of cement. Exact dosage rates are dependent on the type of effect sought, quality of cement and aggregates, water/cement ratio and ambient temperature. Therefore, in many cases it is advisable to carry out trial mixes.
YL-SNF-C can be added directly or added in after dissolved in water. It can be added during mixing and after-mixing (better). The after-mixing approach can achieve better result.
