Harvesting :

Sponges are harvested with the old traditional way of diving near the east Aegean Greek  islands and north coasts of Libya. Expert divers dive to depths up to 60 - 70meters, selecting only the best and full grown sponges leaving the "Roots" of everysponge  intact to ensure proper farming harvesting.
