Applications:

The tester is designed for measuring the combustion time of textile fabric with a pile surface (such as a raising, terry, tufted or similar).

Instrument characteristics:

1. Heating wire ignition; 

2. Burner for automatic timing and positioning; 

3. Ignition time setting for 0 to 99.99 seconds. Automatic recording of burning time, with digital display.

 

Technical Specifications:

1. Dimension of sample holder: 150mm × 75mm(L×W); 

2. Frame marking line: 75mm below the sample ignition; 

3. Ignition time: freely setting of 0 ~ 99.99 seconds; 

4. Flame height gage: flame height of 40±2mm; 

5. Distance between Ignition and specimen holder: 15mm; 

6. Gas supply: industrial butane, or propane, or mixed gas of butane/propane;
